Skoot is a scooter rental marketplace app for international travellers in Thailand. We partner with verified local rental shops and run every rental through a managed in-app flow: ID verification, digital contract, card payment, and deposit held in escrow by Skoot itself rather than the shop. Damage disputes are resolved through Skoot with photo evidence, so travellers never hand over a passport or cash to a stranger at a rental counter. Launched in 2023 from Phuket, Skoot now covers seven Thai cities and handles thousands of rentals a month.
